Mimic Muscles

👩‍🎓Mimic muscles are able to give a certain expression to the face, changing the shapes and moving the surface of the skin with the formation of creases and wrinkles.
This process is called mimicry.
Also, facial muscles are involved in the process of chewing and the formation of sounds of our speech.
By location, the facial muscles are divided into the following groups:
• muscles of the cranial;
• muscles of the circumference of the nostrils;
• eye circumference muscles;
• muscles of the circumference of the auricle;
• muscles of the mouth and cheek circumference.
👩‍🎓Unlike the others, the facial muscles are not covered with fascia and are not attached to the bones with two ends.
